How we transformed outsourcing
to steady-sourcing
We needed an extended office with a team of reliable
and affordable full-time employees. So we set about to create one.

We focused on extending our office instead of outsourcing our work
Steady Source began as a solution for us. We needed help with specific operations and tasks as our business grew, but we wanted a more reliable model than the typical outsourcing operation which rotates their staff regularly to keep down cost. We didn’t want to pay the price for that low cost in poor retention, unreliability, and lack of growth and expertise. We wanted all of the advantages of an offshore team, without any disadvantages which ultimately undermine the economic advantage of using an offshore team.
We focused on culture as much as location
To build our team, we knew we wanted to create a culture of mutual investment and promote continuity. Rather than the long commutes and nights away from home required for employment in Manila, we chose a location for our extended office that provides a reasonable commute in a family-oriented culture. It’s a choice that has allowed us to attract and build strong relationships with local talent because it fosters a sustainable work-life balance.
We also wanted the best talent, and our location provides that, too. Surrounded by local universities, the area around Manila is rich with talent. These university graduates provide a steady pool of talent to hire and train as we grew and relied more and more on our extended office. As grew, our reputation in the region helped us attract and, more importantly, retain that talent.
We focused on employee retention and progress
The core of Steady Source is our team of employees in the Philippines who have become our extended office. We wanted a team of full-time employees for ongoing services, not on a checklist of services that could be outsourced to anyone. We believe in and support the growth of our employees. We have cost of living pay increases for each year for all employees. As our staff progresses, we promote. As a result, our model provides continuity and expertise Our model has been so successful for our in-house use and our team so talented, we want to change the culture of outsourcing for you, too.
We focused on steady growth
We’ve spent the last ten years building the team in our extended office, growing from 5 employees to more than 60. As we recruited from the universities, we hire and train in pairs, creating subject matter experts and trainers at once. This model improves the training process for each pair, improves continuity in the organization as a whole, and brings well-trained employees into service quickly. In the process of creating what we needed, we believe we created what you need, too. Steady Source offers a unique model for running business processes.
Ask us how you, too, can enjoy a steady-source of employment resources, not an out-source.
